11/17/2001 Entry: "mop lover"

thursday. i can't remember anything cool happening then. i probably just slept.

friday. it was tn's birthday. i didn't get a chance to get her anything. i think i've already given her enough anyway. merman stuck me with her all day. he claimed he had to go "study". yes i know the period should be before the closing quote, but i think that's stupid and not logical so i'm protesting. anyway, i hung out with tn most of the day. we sat around for a while. then i had to teach her how to use the online class registration thing. and i also taught her how to use the scrollwheel and that ctrl+n will open a new window when you're in internet explorer. and now, i'll tell you the secret that every guy wants to know. in order to quickly minimize all of your open windows, for instance when you don't want someone to see what you're doing, the shortcut key is window key+m. then to restore all those windows, you press window key+shift+m. the window key is usually next to alt.

then we hung out with yohn and he tried to register for classes. then they left and i went to class. then home. then sleep. then i woke up. i called merman but a robot answered. i don't talk to robots. you just can't trust them.

today the plane tickets came in the mail. alex got back. he called. i've done just about nothing all day long. alex called some more. i made a program that converts phone numbers into all possible word combinations. and all this time i thought those stupid nested loops were useless. boy was i wrong.

nobody knows what i'm talking about.
