our very first show of vikings vs. pirates vs. robots. very movie like.
i showed up late. and it's OK. because we were locked out... which wasn't ok. so. i dunno who it was but they thought up the crazy idea to go through the ceiling and climb down on the other side. joanna volunteered which i must say was very rad of her. she fell through when she got to the other side and she has a bruise on her wrist, some cuts on her elbow and gash o her back. which puts her high on the awesome list. so. we start the show. one mic. one cd player. a small selection and a semi-functional turntable. so. we winged it as usual with the usual shy dumb talking in between songs. some dead air. etc. but it was so fun. what a great thursday/friday. we came back to my room later and played music. did some junk. watched japan footage. other footage. ryan on guitar. justin on bass. joanna on keyboards. me on rythym guitar, drum machine and vocals. it was an eventful night. adventure. excitement. everything a jedi doesn't crave. thanks to everyone who listened to the show.
