i hate doing dumb work. connecting the rca cables to the tv. switching car batteries. plugging in household appliances. etc. my dad needed some help doing something with the car battery of the new, old spectrum that we got from my uncle. so. i had to get the flashlight. find some bolts. rubberbands. twigs. tie wraps (jet li handcuffs). car battery. stuff like that. it just bores me. but it's funny. because instead of doing the conventional thing of getting the proper battery to fit the existing wires with proper terminals, my dad just gets the battery i bought for the grand am, whose terminals are on the other side of the cables. so. he just cuts off the car battery cables from the grand am. tie wraps them to the wires in the spectrum, puts some hose clamps on those, uses twigs for spacers and a bolt on the other one. and then duct tapes some things. and the car starts. voila. i mean. what can you get a guy like that for father's day?

Jeez dude. That is frickin crazy. I know what to get something for a guy like that. Go out. Buy a bunch of cool things that are broken. And. He'll probably make something real cool outta the remaining working peices. If not fixing the things altogether. And. Making something super awesome. LIke... A super moped sub woofer microwave beat box.
