A lot of times using the flash is bad. It messes up the colors and generally screws up photos if you're not careful. You need to learn when to use it and when not to use it. Here's an example. I was taking photos of the new color of our garage wall. Here's with the flash.

And here's without a flash.

See the difference? Try to take photos both with and without the flash.
